All levels of students are welcome to attend. This will be a great introduction for people new to I Liq Chuan as well as experienced ILC students
and Instructors. Steve has cross trained in many different systems so he can understand perspectives from students coming into I Liq Chuan from other systems.
He can share with you invaluable contextual insights and guidance that will enhance your training experience and your ability to progress.
About Steve Arboleda:
Steve is a 2nd Generation Lineage Disciple of I Liq Chuan Master Sam F. S. Chin, and is one of the few Instructor Level Three, Student Level Seven
ILC Practitioners worldwide. One of Master Sam's earliest teaching assistants Steve has traveled extensively to train and assist Master Chin;
early highlights include Malaysia in 2001 and 2002; Perth, Australia in 2001 and 2002; Japan 2002; Russia 2003; and Holland in 2003.
Topics to be covered will include:
- Meeting & Matching an opponents energy to maintain a stable center.
- Eight Cycles of Spinning Hands
- Learning to Maintain Constant Energy on the Changing Point of Contact
- Recognizing Energy of Flow, Fend, Roll and Pivot
If time allows we will explore the basics of Sticky Hands training.
